Assist optometrists in delivering patient care from pre-screening to post-exam follow-up, performing diagnostic tests, gathering medical histories, and educating patients on vision benefits. Guide clients through contact lens training, insurance verification, and scheduling while ensuring smooth patient flow by coordinating appointments and managing office communications. Document patient exams and procedures with accuracy, multitasking in a fast-paced environment to meet individual and collective goals for optimal patient satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in customer service
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate and connect with patients
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Detail-focused and capable of documenting patient exams and procedures with accuracy
- Flexibility to accommodate changing schedules as needed
- Proactive attitude toward team success
