Job Summary
Optometric Technician I assists optometrists with patient care from pre-screening to post-exam follow-up; performs diagnostic tests, gathers patient medical histories, educates patients on vision benefits, guides contact lens training, verifies insurance, and schedules visits. Responsibilities include coordinating appointments, managing office communications, and supporting the team to meet individual and collective goals for optimal patient care and satisfaction. Required are 1+ year of customer service experience, strong communication, organizational and multitasking abilities, teamwork, attention to detail in documenting exams and procedures, and a flexible, proactive approach to support the team. Required Qualifications
