Job Summary
Optometric Technician I assists the Optometrist in patient care, pre-screens patients, collects medical history, communicates with doctors and staff, greets and schedules patients, educates patients on vision benefits, trains on contact lens use, obtains insurance authorizations, posts charges, documents exams, coordinates scheduling and patient flow, and supports team goals. Requires excellent customer service, strong communication, multitasking, organization, basic math, and a flexible schedule; HS diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of experience preferred.
Required Qualifications

- 1+ years experience preferred but not required
