Optometric Technician

Job Summary
Assist optometrist with initial testing using manual/autorefractor equipment (lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer), retinal camera, visual field, and OCT/GDX as part of the Total Patient Experience. Follow testing scripts, maintain equipment, and perform general office duties while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Provide excellent patient care, interact with patients and colleagues professionally, and support scheduling needs. Travel to other locations may be required; weekend or schedule changes may be needed to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Favorable result on background check as required by state
- Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
