Job Summary
Optometric Technician at EyeCare Partners supports optometrists by performing initial testing to prepare patients for exams, operating devices such as lensometers, autorefractors/keratometers, retinal cameras, visual fields, and OCT/GDX, following testing scripts, maintaining HIPAA compliance, and contributing to a positive team-based patient experience. The role requires interaction with patients and staff, adherence to schedules (including possible weekend shifts), and basic office duties. Proficiency with MS Office and clinical equipment is expected, with a background check and proof of identity/right to work in the United States required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients
- Favorable result on background check
- Proof of identity and right to work in the United States
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
