Job Summary
Operate manual lensometer, auto-lensometer, autorefractor, retinal camera, visual field, GDX, or OCT equipment to perform initial testing and prepare patients for optometrist exams. Follow scripting for photos, visual fields, and visual activity while cleaning examination equipment including tonometer tips. Embrace the Total Patient Experience by building relationships with patients and delivering medical support in compliance with HIPAA policies. Maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment through courteous interactions with all employees. Commit to flexible work hours that may include weekends, schedule changes, or extended shifts to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 lbs
