Job Summary
The Optometric Technician assists optometrists by providing a Total Patient Experience through various duties, including operating optical equipment, managing patient relationships, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA in a medical office environment. Requires a high school diploma or GED and preferably previous medical or ophthalmic experience.
Required Qualifications
- Previous medical office experience preferred
- Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients
- Favorable result on background check as required by state
- Must provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Previous ophthalmic experience
