Job Summary
Operate manual and auto lensometers, autorefractors, retinal cameras, visual field machines, and OCTs while following specific scripting for photos and visual activities. Perform initial testing to prepare patients for optometrist exams, clean examination equipment including tonometer tips, and maintain a positive work environment through courteous interactions with all staff. Comply with company policies and HIPAA regulations while prioritizing patient and provider time. Commit to flexible hours that may include weekends or schedule changes to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Favorable result on background check
- Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 lbs
- Strong fine motor skills and full use of hands
- Visual and auditory acuity—including color, depth, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- Commitment to work hours that meet the needs of the business which may include weekends, schedule changes or an extended schedule
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees in a courteous, professional manner at all time
Desired Qualifications
