Optometric Assistant (Telehealth)

Optometric Assistant (Telehealth) for Visionworks Telehealth/Onsite role responsible for guiding patients through remote eye exams, acting as liaison between patients and Telemedicine remote physicians, performing preliminary testing, maintaining patient records, educating patients about products/services, and supporting store operations to ensure a smooth patient experience. Key duties include assisting with remote eye exam processes, facilitating transitions from doctor to sales floor, restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, answering phones, and delivering customer-focused service with knowledge of eye health, optics, managed vision care, and related products. Qualifications emphasize customer or patient experience (preferred) and HS diploma or GED. Compensation is hourly with full-time benefits; remote work not indicated for this location.
