Job Summary
Visionworks Optometric Assistant (Part Time) acts as the face of our Exam Practice, guiding patients from preliminary testing through OD handoff and educating on products/services to meet eye care needs. Responsibilities include maintaining patient records, introducing patients to the OD, assisting with exam-lane operations, inventory/restocking, cleaning equipment, answering phones, and supporting sales floor transitions with accurate information for product recommendations. Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED (or equivalent) and customer/patient experience is a plus. Compensation is hourly with a pay range of $15-$18.54/hour; benefits are included for part-timers where applicable. Remote work is not specified for this role; positions are in-person at Wesley Chapel, FL and The Shops at Wiregrass, Wesley Chapel, FL.
