Optometric Assistant Part Time at Visionworks serving as the face of the Exam Practice, guiding patients through preliminary eye-health testing, introducing patients to the OD, and transitioning patients from doctor to sales floor while supporting exam-lane operations and patient experience. Requires knowledge of eye health, optics, and managed vision care, plus strong customer service and communication to educate patients and assist with store tasks like inventory, equipment cleaning, and answering phones. Emphasis on maintaining accurate patient records, assisting with introductory steps of eye exams, and delivering a friendly, human experience aligned with the brand. HS diploma or GED or equivalent experience preferred; part-time hourly role with benefits eligibility and potential bonuses/equity/commissions.
