Job Summary
Monitor and control the cement manufacturing process from the Remote Optimization Center in Dallas, reviewing equipment status, process parameters, and alarms to ensure the plant operates within defined parameters. Identify and troubleshoot process and equipment issues by collaborating with plant and HROC teams to minimize downtime and production losses. Maintain accurate records of operational activities to support data analysis for detecting trends and inefficiencies. Work 12-hour rotating shifts including nights and weekends while traveling within the United States and Canada as required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to safely operate a cement plant in a 24/7 environment
- extensive control room experience
- disciplined decision making
- strong understanding of kiln and mill processes
- familiarity with process control systems
- Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree, preferably in Chemical, Industrial, or Manufacturing
- Technical certifications or vocational training in process operations or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication
