Job Summary
Provide 24/7 remote monitoring, operation, and control of cement and grinding plants across the U.S. and Canada from the centralized HROC operations center in Irving, TX. Actively optimize manufacturing processes and equipment using advanced control systems, automation platforms, and real-time data interfaces to ensure stable, safe, and efficient operation. Make critical operational decisions in response to process deviations and alarms, executing corrective actions while collaborating with plant operations and engineering teams to minimize downtime and sustain reliable performance. Troubleshoot process, equipment, and control system issues in real time, champion standard operating procedures, and drive continuous optimization strategies through data analysis and cross-plant knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree, preferably Chemical, Industrial or Manufacturing
- Technical certifications or vocational training in process operations or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy and precision
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production personnel
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to travel in both the United States and Canada
