Opticien(ne) / Technicien(ne) ophtalmique

Optician/ophthalmic technician role in a LASIK MD clinic. Performs preoperative and postoperative measurements and provides clear explanations to patients throughout the process. Reviews imaging maps to ensure accuracy and applies knowledge of procedures and technologies offered by the clinic. Delivers outstanding customer service and patient care. Training is provided, and a quarterly bonus plus a $5,000 signing bonus are offered. Requires a Bachelor of Science, completion of an opticianry program (certification not required), or COT/COMT certification recognized by JCAHPO. Eligible for full-time position (~35 hours/week) with benefits including health insurance, telemedicine, RRSP match, and opportunities to work with ophthalmology experts. Fluency in French with advanced English is preferred. Schedule typically Monday–Friday 8:00–17:00 with rotating Saturdays. The role is based in Laval, QC, Canada, with travel support to Pointe-Claire when needed.
