Job Summary
Dispense and fit glasses and contacts by operating auto-lensometers and manual lensometers to collect precise measurements for frames. Educate patients on lens coatings and frame selection while coordinating measurements with optical prescriptions from optometrists and ophthalmologists. Repair and adjust frames, dispense orders in E360, and maintain inventory and frame standards. Work full-time hours Monday through Friday, 7:15am to 4:30pm, with availability for shift adjustments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One year in a customer interactive position
- Current ABO/ABOC and NCLE certifications (or obtained with first 2 years of employment)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 lbs
- Strong fine motor skills and full use of hands
- Visual and auditory acuity—including color, depth, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- Open availability to work any/all shifts within Monday-Friday 7:15am-4:30pm hours
- Ability to comply with the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPPA)
