Job Summary
Optician responsible for matching patient needs with optical solutions, assisting patients with eyewear selections, entering orders and billing accurately, maintaining inventory and ensuring compliance with national quality standards. Role involves data entry into EMR/system, processing eyewear orders, insurance plan knowledge, and meeting productivity and financial goals. Travel is required. Key tasks include measuring inter-ocular distance, aligning frames, verifying order components and costs, processing payments, and ensuring boutique organization and display cleanliness. Requires strong customer service, insurance familiarity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment; COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Up to 1 year of experience
- Experience working with the public
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role
- Ability to travel
