Optician

Optician role at Good Eye Optometry in Brentwood, Los Angeles. Responsibilities include assisting patients in selecting frames and lenses that meet visual needs and lifestyle, educating on lens options (including progressive lenses, coatings, and specialty lenses), taking accurate measurements (PD, OC height, etc.), processing and dispensing eyewear orders, adjusting and repairing frames, verifying prescriptions and order accuracy, coordinating with optical labs and vendors, maintaining an organized and attractive optical display, and providing excellent patient service with follow-up. Qualifications include previous experience as an Optician or Optical Sales Associate preferred, knowledge of lens designs, coatings, and frame fitting, strong communication and customer service skills, attention to detail and multitasking in a fast-paced environment; familiarity with EMR or optical software is a plus; ABO certification is a plus but not required.
