Job Summary
Verify order data entry against original prescriptions, file orders under the correct ABC system, and read prescriptions on the lensometer to assure accuracy. Deliver sales by explaining exam fee procedures, recommending products that improve visual needs, and providing excellent in-person and phone service. Take measurements, assure correct frame selection, and manage timely notification of product readiness while handling all money-related transactions. Assist members with eyeglass adjustments and repairs, support the Optical Manager with opening and closing procedures, and ensure accurate funds are collected. Adhere to HIPAA and all club policies while maintaining a friendly demeanor and resolving member concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Open shift availability required for full time positions.
- At least 18 years of age.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of optical products and business practices preferred.
- High school diploma, college degree, and/or big box wholesale, retail, and/or optical experience is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills and an attention to detail required.
