Job Summary
The Optician provides clinical support to Providers by delivering high quality optical services to patients. Key responsibilities include greeting guests, utilizing software for patient eyewear orders, verifying prescriptions, operating optical equipment, troubleshooting eyewear concerns, and educating patients on frame and lens options. The role requires the ability to manage a dispensary, vendor relations, inventory, and patient concerns. Candidates must have experience in a similar role, possess customer service skills, and demonstrate proficiency in relevant software.
Required Qualifications
- Previous optical experience of 3 or more years
- Customer service and/or sales experience of 3 or more years
- Basic or Advanced American Board of Opticianry (ABO) Certification preferred
