Job Summary
Optical Store Customer Service Specialist supports front-line optical operations in Rockland/Sullivan Counties, handling optical orders, payments, and insurance verifications. Responsibilities include maintaining filing systems (hard copy and electronic), processing orders and payments, assisting with insurance verifications and authorizations, performing general clerical duties (photocopying, faxing, scanning, mailing, filing), answering and routing inbound calls and emails, coordinating special projects, maintaining confidentiality, ensuring compliance, and contributing to ongoing operations. Requires strong interpersonal and customer service skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedules are offered and full training is provided.
