Job Summary
Dispense and fit glasses and contacts by accurately collecting measurements, operating lensometers, and dispensing orders in E360. Educate patients on lenses, coatings, and frames while assisting with frame selection based on style, color, and facial measurements. Repair and adjust patient frames, maintain frame inventory accuracy, and ensure all job aids and policies are followed. Perform general office duties, cleaning, and other assigned tasks to support the Total Patient Experience. Full-time availability Monday through Saturday, 8am to 7pm, with open shifts within these hours. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret insurance forms
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- HIPAA compliance
- Favorable result on background check
- Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 lbs
- Strong fine motor skills and full use of hands
- Visual and auditory acuity—including color, depth, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- Previous medical office experience
- Previous ophthalmic experience
- Current ABO/ABOC and NCLE certifications
