Job Summary
Guide patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings tailored to their needs. Ensure accurate measurements and prescription information for lab technicians, oversee the production process, and dispense glasses to patients. Educate patients on eyewear care and process insurance claims. Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and confidentiality of patient files. Interpret prescription requirements, take necessary measurements, prepare work orders, inspect final products for accuracy, and adjust and repair frames as needed. Price, stock, and organize merchandise. This role offers base pay of $15-$17.50 per hour plus incentives, with health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), disability and life insurance, and opportunities for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Optical industry experience is a plus!
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
