Job Summary
Guide patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings while ensuring accurate measurements and prescription information for lab technicians. Process payments, refunds, and insurance claims using the Point of Sale system, then educate patients on eyeglass care and dispense glasses with personalized attention. Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, create confidential patient files, and interpret prescription requirements to take measurements, prepare work orders, and inspect final products. Adjust and repair frames as needed, while pricing, stocking, and organizing merchandise. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must maintain a drug-free workplace
- Must pass pre-employment substance abuse testing
