As an Optical Retail Sales Associate, you will guide patients in selecting eyeglass frames, lenses, and coatings tailored to their needs, ensure accurate measurements and prescription information for our lab technicians, oversee the production process, and provide personalized care when dispensing glasses. Responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service, staying informed about sales promotions and company policies, processing payments and refunds via the POS system, educating patients on eyeglass care, processing insurance claims, maintaining up-to-date product knowledge, managing patient files with confidentiality, interpreting prescription requirements, taking measurements, preparing work orders, inspecting final products for accuracy, adjusting and repairing frames, and price/stock/merchandising of merchandise. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and excellent communication skills; optical industry experience is a plus.
