Job Summary
Support and assist remote FAE team and cross-functional teams by preparing and testing optical lab setups. Responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, managing logistics and supporting customer demos and trials. Candidates should have hands-on experience with optical networks and proficiency in Python.
Required Qualifications
- BS with 3 years or MS with 1 year of hands-on experience in optical network industry preferably in optical transceivers
- Experience with test plan creation and execution for optical system trials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization skills with attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Good Knowledge on coherent optical networks
- Knowledge on transceivers/pluggable is a plus
- Proficiency in L2 and L3 routers and switches
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language
- Familiarity with other programming languages such as Java, MATLAB, VB.net, C#, and JavaScript
- Experience with SSH, Telnet, API based automation and testing tools
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments is a plus
