Job Summary
Optical Display Engineer based in Guangzhou, joining Marelli's Optical team. Responsibilities include participating in project quotations for OEM display products, developing technical solutions and delivering presentation reports and BOMs, addressing inquiries and resolving display-related issues for OEM, presenting and discussing technical solutions with OEM, guiding suppliers through product development to Marelli standards, collaborating with quality, purchasing, and project departments for supplier development and management tasks, organizing design reviews with suppliers and customers, maintaining a repository of lessons learned and failure analysis models, learning new display technologies, and completing tasks assigned by the leader while reporting workload and achievements.
Required Qualifications
- Strong English communication skills
- At least 3 years of work experience in a display technical position
- Familiar with the electrical and optical characteristics of display products (TFT/OLED)
- Knowledgeable about the structure, component characteristics, and process features of display products, with awareness of cost considerations
- Understanding of TLCM/CG/TP/Bonding/OLED processes and technologies
- Previous experience as an FAE/TPL in the display industry or in R&D at a Tier1 is preferred
- Word, Excel and PowerPoint use mandatory
