Optical Bench Integration Technician

The Optical Integration Technician will lead initial integration of mechanical and optical components for Skyloom production, perform initial optical alignments, and conduct quality control. Responsibilities include following detailed work instructions, developing new procedures, performing quality control measurements and inspections, and collaborating with mechanical and optical engineering teams to troubleshoot problems and improve processes. Required skills include excellent manual dexterity for small, precision components, ability to follow complex instructions, strong communication, attention to detail, and problem solving; familiarity with optic cleaning procedures, ESD and laser safety; experience with torque tools, micrometers, and calipers; proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office; scripting; ability to read engineering drawings and follow cleanroom protocols; and a bias toward maintaining a clean, organized workspace with knowledge of quality control and compliance procedures.
