Job Summary
Supervise a team of Lead Operators and laborers to ensure fill sequencing plans are adhered to, density goals are achieved, and landfill operations comply with applicable permits. Lead safety initiatives by removing unsafe conditions, partnering with maintenance for equipment compliance, and implementing loss control programs to prevent accidents. Manage customer experience by resolving service requests, equipment breakdowns, and schedule changes while maintaining positive company representation. Execute operational plans to meet budgeted goals, manage labor hours and disposal expenses, and build talent through coaching and career development. Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, regulatory, and ethical standards while driving a culture of employee engagement.
Required Qualifications
- State certification as required by regulation
- Minimum of 1 year of lead or supervisory experience
- Experience in labor relations
