Job Summary
OPS Senior Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct nursing care to residents at the Veterans’ Domiciliary Home under supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, mobility, and ambulation; observing and reporting resident concerns; recording vital signs and weights; assisting with self-administration of medications; transporting/escorting residents to appointments; and maintaining confidentiality and Residents' Rights. Must hold a Florida CNA license, CPR certification, be willing to work various shifts including weekends/holidays, and be able to drive a 15-seat passenger van (training provided). Requires successful completion of background check and drug test. This is an OPS Temporary position located in Lake City, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Must have current Florida Certified Nursing Assistant License
- Must have current CPR certification
- Willing and able to work day shift, evening shift and night shift as needed
- Must be willing and able to work every other weekend and holidays as needed
- Must be willing and able to drive a 15-seat passenger van (training will be provided at facility)
- Must have a valid Florida driver's license
- Successful completion of the due diligence process to include, but not limited to, a Level II background check and drug test
