Job Summary
Oversee landfill operations within a business unit, managing the Operations Supervisor – Landfill, Lead Operators, Operators and/or General Laborers to ensure safe, efficient daily operations and compliance with safety, environmental, and permit conditions. Collaborate with the General Manager and Area Manager to develop operational plans that meet density goals, execute local market strategies, monitor safety programs, manage budgets and labor, coordinate with Maintenance and external contractors, and lead change initiatives to drive functional excellence and durability of the operation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience
- Certification as a Landfill Operator
