Job Summary
Ops Lead oversees and directs a work shift or project for waste handling activities, including sampling, analysis processing, documentation and disposal; ensures plant and personnel safety through enforcing safety procedures and providing training; coordinates activities of operations personnel, inventory, vendors, transporters, and treatment facilities; maintains housekeeping of waste handling areas; directs off-loading operations and approves batch clearances; collects post-treatment samples to determine ultimate disposition; notifies maintenance needs and reviews RCRA manifests; trains personnel on processing procedures; may substitute during absences and participate in emergency response operations; requires knowledge of waste processing, safety, and DOT/CDL considerations.
