Job Summary
Lead a small teaching team by delivering large-group, small-group, and individual instruction using established lesson plans while monitoring assessments and grading data to drive improvements. Adapt high-standards, differentiation-ready curriculum and lead whole-group sessions, tutoring students and supervising digital learning projects. Manage classroom procedures, supervise student transitions and social-emotional development during recess and lunch, and address individual behavioral needs to maintain a culture of respect. Collaborate with the multi-classroom leader on instructional planning, data review, and professional development, occasionally handling administrative duties and troubleshooting persistent learning challenges. Work nearly full-time for a full school year under the direction of a high-growth teacher.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or coursework toward a bachelor's
- Working toward teaching certificate and bachelor's degree
- Demonstrated effectiveness working with people who have differing cultural backgrounds and/or personal characteristics, including race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or economic differences
- Knowledge of subject matter being taught
- Must be able to maintain emotional control under stress
- Regular attendance required
- Must be able to lift or exert force of up to 25 pounds

Desired Qualifications
