Job Summary
Facilitate accurate communication by faithfully interpreting into Cambodian without adding, omitting, or changing content. Maintain absolute impartiality, interpret in the first person, and strictly abide by the interpreter's code of ethics while preserving confidentiality. Demonstrate top-tier customer service and provide professional explanations for cultural differences encountered during duties. Ensure continuous improvement of interpreting skills and ethical performance while reading, writing, and presenting information to clients and employees. Submit application through the onboarding portal upon meeting fluency requirements in English and Cambodian.
Required Qualifications
- Absolute fluency in English and the target language(s)
- Demonstrated ability to perform all essential interpretation duties listed above
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
