Ophthalmology Technician

Assist physicians with ophthalmologic examinations, procedures, and treatments while performing visual acuity testing, intraocular pressure measurements, and advanced diagnostics including OCT and corneal topography. Scribe electronic medical records, compile patient histories, and administer dilating agents upon completion of required pharmacology training. Support minor clinic surgeries, laser treatments, and preoperative preparations, then provide postoperative instructions and escort patients to hospital units. Manage instrument sterilization, supply ordering, and specimen transport to the laboratory.
