Job Summary
Ophthalmology Sales Manager for Topcon Healthcare in the Mid-Atlantic region, covering New Jersey with a focus on promoting and selling diagnostic and refractive instrument platforms (e.g., OCTs, retinal cameras, topographers, refraction systems) to ophthalmology practices, ASCs, hospital systems, and IDNs. Responsibilities include developing annual business plans, territory planning, achieving quarterly/annual quotas, conducting regular instrument demonstrations, maintaining CRM data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Requires travel up to 50% of the time, strong presentation and strategic selling skills, knowledge of clinical and technical applications, and the ability to work remotely within New Jersey; base pay $100,000 with a $600 monthly car allowance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience with selling capital equipment into ophthalmology practices, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), hospital systems, IDNs, government and national accounts is preferred
- Business to Business Sales experience
- C-level call points and demonstration of strategic selling skills preferred
- Evidence of top performance in prior sales roles
- Understanding of Health insurance and Payers preferred
- Strong presentation skills, business acumen, and leadership qualities
- A solid grasp of sales metrics, performance measures, and technical indicators
- A thorough aptitude for analysis and strategy
- Excellent interpersonal and client-relations skills
- Negotiation, conflict resolution, and presentation skills
- Dynamic and creative problem-solving abilities
- A strong client-focused mindset
- Must reside in New Jersey
- Overnight travel up to 25%-50%

- Base Pay: $100,000 Annualized
- Car Allowance Eligibility: $600 monthly
