Job Summary
Ophthalmology Sales Manager responsible for promoting and selling Topcon’s Diagnostic and Refractive instrument platform in a designated Tennessee territory. Travel at least 50% within the territory, conduct instrument demonstrations, develop and execute annual business plans to meet quotas, maintain high-quality CRM account profiles, and collaborate with marketing and service teams to grow opportunities. Requires ability to work remotely, strong presentation and negotiation skills, and experience selling capital ophthalmology equipment to practices, ASCs, hospitals, and IDNs. Bachelor’s degree preferred; candidates should reside in Tennessee and be capable of extensive travel; base pay around $100,000 annually with additional compensation and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience with selling capital equipment into ophthalmology practices, ASCs, hospital systems, IDNs, government and national accounts is preferred
- Business to Business Sales experience that demonstrates understanding of the sales process and ethical business practices
- C-level call points and demonstration of strategic selling skills strongly preferred
- Evidence of top performance in prior sales roles
- Understanding of Health insurance and Payers strongly preferred
