Ophthalmology Sales Manager

Job Summary
Promote and sell Topcon's Diagnostic and Refractive instrument platform to ophthalmology practices within North Carolina and South Carolina. Travel at least 50% of the time within the territory, attend local and national trade shows (including weekends), and maintain deep clinical and technical knowledge of products such as OCTs, retinal cameras, topographers, refraction systems, and Topcon Harmony Healthcare Digital Management System. Develop and execute an annual business plan with quarterly updates, conduct routine instrument demonstrations tailored to customer needs, build and manage accounts to meet quarterly and annual quotas, and maintain high-quality CRM records. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to uncover opportunities, participate in burden of proof with customers, and advance Topcon Healthcare offerings. The role requires residency in NC or SC, willingness to travel, strong presentation and negotiation skills, and the ability to operate in a remote/hybrid environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience selling capital equipment into ophthalmology practices, ASCs, hospital systems, IDNs, government and national accounts preferred
- B2B sales experience with understanding of sales process and ethical business practices
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and client-relations skills
- Knowledge of health insurance/payers preferred
- Ability to travel up to 25-50% including weekends
- Reside in NC or SC
