Job Summary
Evaluate images and/or data following MERIT's standard and project-specific evaluation procedures. Perform data review for quality control and user acceptance tests for grading forms in Excelsior when requested. Review imaging procedure documents and complete all required training to maintain up-to-date records. Comply fully with MERIT policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Good Clinical Practices. Understand the EXCELSIOR clinical data management system sufficiently for reader duties.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- Minimum three (3) years of work experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Highly organized
- Clear and precise verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work on multiple assignments and balance priorities
- Proficient computer skills
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Regularly required to use hands; to touch, handle or feel, with repetitive motions, and talk or hear
- Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, crouch, kneel and climb
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in biological science, biophysics, or biomedical engineering
- Work experience, preferably related to ophthalmic clinic or ophthalmic research
