Job Summary
Perform comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose and treat eye conditions. Conduct cataract surgery and related laser procedures (Femtosecond laser for cataract surgery, MIGS, SLT, laser iridotomies, capsulotomies). Prescribe and manage medications and treatments; counsel patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventive measures. Collaborate with optometrists and primary care physicians for coordinated patient care. Stay updated with advancements in ophthalmology and participate in continuing education activities.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology
- Active medical license to practice in California
