Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive medical services for patients in both practice and hospital settings, including history and physical examinations, routine health maintenance, and management of treatment programs. Initiate treatment via prescriptions, diagnostic tests, and procedures while reviewing lab results to plan appropriate actions. Evaluate and implement patient care needs through standardized orders and evidence-based medicine, providing regular communication with referring physicians, patients, and families. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient education, wellness habit teaching, and coordination of referrals to various professionals and agencies. Maintain knowledge of current medical practices and ensure confidentiality of all patient materials.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty
- Current or recent experience in area of specialty
- MD or DO - licensed by the state licensure board within the State of practice
- Board Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty by the appropriate medical board
- Employment history for the past seven (7) years
