Job Summary
Drive sales and business growth across the ZEISS ophthalmic diagnostic, surgical, and digital portfolio by developing strategic relationships with NHS and private healthcare customers. Execute territory and account plans to achieve targets, manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract completion, and negotiate pricing within commercial guidelines. Plan and deliver product demonstrations and evaluations, coordinate installations and training, and assist with workflow integration and troubleshooting. Maintain accurate customer records and forecasting in Salesforce CRM while monitoring market activity and competitor developments. Collaborate with Clinical Application Specialists, marketing teams, and operations to support campaigns and share customer feedback. Represent ZEISS professionally at all times and ensure all activities comply with company policies and ethical guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
- Proven sales experience within the medical device, healthcare or life sciences sector
- Experience managing complex sales cycles
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets
- Experience delivering customer presentations and product demonstrations
- Experience managing customer accounts and maintaining CRM systems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to negotiate effectively
- Solution-focused sales approach
- Ability to explain complex technical and clinical information to varied audiences
