Job Summary
Conduct Pediatric and comprehensive ophthalmology care, serving as the primary Pediatric Ophthalmologist with a 1/2-day Tuesday surgery block and weekly NICU rounds for Retinopathy of prematurity. Manage a mix of adult strabismus and general comprehensive call rotations alongside routine exams, refractions, and function as the Lead for Pediatric patients seen by Optometry partners. Operate within an integrated Kaiser Permanente Central Interstate team in Portland, OR, utilizing advanced Epic EMR and a collaborative, patient-centric model where business aspects are removed from patient care. Schedule includes 4-6 weekdays and 4-5 weekends for general ophthalmology call, shared equally among providers.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Eligible in Ophthalmology
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology
