Job Summary
Conduct scheduled ophthalmologic or optometric assessments, review medical records, and complete structured, objective evaluation reports for independent medical assessments. Perform comprehensive eye examinations and visual assessments while documenting findings using electronic reporting systems. Communicate professionally with support staff and work exclusively from your own established office space in the Midland/Odessa area. This flexible, low-volume role involves approximately one day per month, with options for a few appointments per week if full-day availability is not possible. No ongoing patient management or treatment responsibilities are required.
Required Qualifications
- Active license as an Ophthalmologist (MD/DO) or Optometrist (OD) in good standing
- Strong clinical evaluation and documentation skills
- Experience with a range of ocular conditions and visual disorders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Must have established office space in the Odessa/Midland area
