Job Summary
Conduct independent medical assessments and perform comprehensive eye examinations for local agencies. Review medical records, gather clinical information, and document findings using electronic reporting systems to complete structured, objective evaluation reports. Communicate professionally with support staff while maintaining a flexible schedule of approximately one day per month, with options for a few weekly appointments if full-day availability is not possible. Work exclusively from your own established office space in the Wichita Falls area. No ongoing patient management or treatment responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Active license as an Ophthalmologist (MD/DO) or Optometrist (OD) in good standing
- Strong clinical evaluation and documentation skills
- Experience with a range of ocular conditions and visual disorders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Must have established office space in the Wichita Falls area
