Ophthalmologist for Mercyhealth System, McHenry & Algonquin, IL - $425,000to$500,000

Board-certified/board-eligible Ophthalmologist needed to join Mercyhealth System's eye care team serving McHenry and Algonquin, IL. Full-time position with flexible scheduling and shared office call (weekly rotation with another Ophthalmologist). EPIC EMR systemwide and a strong built-in referral network. Comprehensive ophthalmology practice including cataract surgery, goniotomy procedures, premium lens implants, laser procedures, and minor in-office surgical procedures. Hospital-based surgical access with access to advanced diagnostic and surgical technology (Zeiss OCT, Humphrey Visual Field, ASCAN, Lenstar, Corneal Topography, Slit lamps, Phoropters). Team structure includes ophthalmologist, optometrist, practice manager, ophthalmic team lead, surgery scheduler, technicians, and support staff. Admitting hospital: Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center-Crystal Lake. Compensation includes a salary range of $425,000-$500,000, productivity and quality incentives, sign-on/retention bonus, student loan repayment assistance, PSLF eligibility (location dependent), CME allowance with paid time, licensure/membership dues reimbursement, paid malpractice with tail coverage, relocation assistance up to $10,000, comprehensive health/dental/vision, retirement plan options, and paid parental and caregiver leave.
