Job Summary
Ophthalmologist needed in Folsom, CA for Mercy Medical Group. Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and treat eye conditions, and perform cataract surgery and laser procedures including femtosecond laser, MIGS, and SLT. Prescribe and manage medications, counsel patients on eye health and preventive care, and collaborate with optometrists and primary care physicians for coordinated patient care. Stay current with advancements in ophthalmology through ongoing education. Compensation includes a two-year guarantee salary of $414K-$438K with potential partnership track; comprehensive benefits and a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology
- Active medical license to practice in the state of California
