Job Summary
Assists ophthalmologists during patient examinations and procedures; documents examination findings and treatment recommendations; records patient medical histories; educates patients on treatment plans and follow-up care; maintains efficient patient flow and coordinates care; performs ophthalmic testing and uses diagnostic equipment (Auto Refractor, Retinoscope, Phoropter, Slit Lamp, OCT machines, Corneal topography, Visual Field analyzer, tonometry, etc.); administers eye medications; sterilizes instruments and ophthalmic equipment; triages patient phone calls; assists with contact lens insertion/removal; training provided for advanced ophthalmic diagnostic tools; benefits include competitive pay and comprehensive health/retirement offerings.
