Job Summary
Perform comprehensive patient workups, administer medications, and assist ophthalmologists during examinations, procedures, and in-office laser treatments. Accurately document examination findings, medical histories, and treatment plans while triaging phone calls and educating patients on diagnoses and follow-up care. Maintain efficient patient flow, sterilize instruments, and manage advanced diagnostic equipment including OCT, visual field testing, and tonometry. Ensure strict adherence to clinical protocols for patient confidentiality and safety.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a busy clinical setting
- Professional demeanor and commitment to patient confidentiality
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist where needed
