Job Summary
Ophthalmic Technician (Part Time, up to 28 hours/week) to join an established multi-specialty ophthalmology group in Danbury, CT. Responsibilities include conducting preliminary examinations (visual acuity, pupillary responses), performing advanced diagnostics (OCT, perimetry, ophthalmic photography), assisting in minor surgeries and laser procedures, administering eye drops (certification required), managing patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms, and supporting clinical staff with administrative duties. Required skills include attention to detail, strong communication, teamwork, and prior experience as an ophthalmic technician; High School Diploma or equivalent; knowledge of medical office procedures. Bonus points for Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA). Hours indicate part-time scheduling.
