Job Summary
Complete all necessary work-ups for potential patients, including obtaining medical and surgical history and performing diagnostic testing such as auto refractions, topographical mapping, and visual acuity measurements. Assist the doctor in the exam lane and surgical procedures by evaluating pupil responses, using a slit lamp microscope, and performing proper eye drop instillation. Prepare the laser room with supplies and sterilized equipment, stock medication and medical supplies, and order all necessary items. Maintain outcome data, ensure forms are complete, and keep up with regular and emergency maintenance on medical equipment. Provide pre/post-operative care and instructions to patients. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
